Our Journey: From Humble Beginnings to Global Success

The story of Victrix began over 25 years ago in London, when founder Julian combined his love for military history and his experience as a former British Army officer to design and create historical wargaming miniatures from his home.

Victrix took a leap forward when Julian teamed up with Stephen Hales, an artist and video-game animation designer whose expertise in digital design perfectly complemented Julian’s vision. Together, they set out with one goal: to produce highly detailed, historically accurate miniatures that let players around the world relive history on their own terms.

From a One-Man Army to a Global Family

Starting with pop-up shops and wargaming events, Victrix grew steadily, eventually finding a home in the scenic Lake District, England. The Victrix operation became a true family business, with every member contributing to its success.

By 2021, the growing demand for our products—from Napoleonic miniatures to WWII figures and everything in between—meant it was time to expand. In June of that year, Victrix moved into a brand-new facility, marking the next exciting chapter in our journey.
